In the webinar focused on Chile, participants analyzed the current state of the Chilean surety market, the host country of PASA’s most recent Technical Seminar.
The discussion covered several key topics related to the local surety industry, including: the current state of the Chilean economy, market data, loss ratios, financial results and growth prospects, key factors for effective underwriting, and the reinsurer’s perspective on these issues.
The session was moderated by Gonzalo Videla (The Travelers Companies, USA), member of PASA’s Surety Committee. Roberto Castillo (Hannover Re, Germany) provided the reinsurer’s viewpoint, and Geraldine McVey (HDI Seguro de Garantía y Crédito) represented the Chilean market.
WEBINAR – COUNTRY DAY ARGENTINA
In this webinar, the PASA Surety Committee hosted a session focused on the Argentine surety market, the host country of PASA’s most recent General Assembly.
Agustín del Torchio (Afianzadora Latinoamericana), member of the Surety Committee, served as moderator, while Mariano Cuffia (Alba Caución), José de Vedia (Aseguradores de Cauciones), and Guillermo Vaccaro (Fianzas y Crédito) participated as representatives of the Argentine market.
The discussion centered around three main topics: market context, the current situation, and the future outlook.
