The week explored key themes and topics impacting the industry today.

Throughout the week, a total of 34 experts from within and outside the industry shared their views on topics such as the public perception of Trade Credit Insurance, the changing nature of trade, the transition to sustainable economics and many more. Among the speakers of this first Trade Credit Insurance week were industry leaders from Allianz Trade, Atradius, Coface, European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), ING Bank, AON, Marsh, Norton Rose and many more. A total of 3200 participants registered to this first time event, most of them insurers, bankers, brokers, regulators and more.

Andreas Tesch, Chief Market Officer at Atradius: “In the current environment of high uncertainty and volatility, TCI will only grow in importance”.

Richard Wulff, Executive Director of ICISA: “The importance of our industry is being recognized in these times to provide stability and security. The large number of registrations to our Trade Credit Insurance Week shows that the wider market appreciates this. The overwhelming interest in our event underlines the important role ICISA has in spreading knowledge and best practice between stakeholders in the trade credit insurance market”.

Anil Berry, Group Board Member, Allianz Trade: “ICISA does a great job bringing together brokers, banks, insurers […]; we’ve got to continue this partnership of knowledge sharing and working out solutions together. […] TCI supports international trade by building trust between buyers and sellers, which is even more key given the current macro-economic and market dynamics.”
