ICISA Webinars: The era of open data – challenges and opportunities presented by new regulation

ICISA webinars are a series of monthly webinars that aim at tackling topics and challenges of the Trade Credit and Surety industries.

These webinars will be organised on the last Tuesday of each month,  and will take about 60 minutes. Speakers of the webinars will be professionals from the industry and stakeholders of the industry offering additional inspiration and fresh ideas to mid-level staff of our membership and (when webinars are open to all) to the informed public around core topics in the industries we represent.

New regulations in the EU and elsewhere create obligations for companies to provide clients' with access to their data, including financial information. This creates certain challenges to businesses to ensure they are storing and protecting data adequately, as wel as responding to requests. Equally, it creates opportunities to utilise data in ways which can support new business too. In this edition of our monthly webinar series, ICISA looks at recent developments in financial data access regulation, open data and related topics to help you understand and adapt.
