ICISA Webinars: Digitalisation of trade – the electronic trade documents act and beyond

ICISA webinars are a series of monthly webinars that aim at tackling topics and challenges of the Trade Credit and Surety industries.

These webinars will be organised on the last Tuesday of each month,  and will take about 60 minutes. Speakers of the webinars will be professionals from the industry and stakeholders of the industry offering additional inspiration and fresh ideas to mid-level staff of our membership and (when webinars are open to all) to the informed public around core topics in the industries we represent. Recent developments in the digitalisation of trade documents have the potential to improve transparency and efficiency in trade. This could speed-up commercial processes while also enhancing security and certainty around documentation. But it’s not without its complexity, and ensuring coherent application of standards across the global economy is equally important. The latest in ICISA’s series of monthly webinars will explore this topic in more detail, including an overview of the recently implemented Electronic Trade Documents Act in the UK, as well as insight into the ICC’s important Digital Standards Initiative.
