ICISA webinars are a series of monthly webinars that aim at tackling topics and challenges of the Trade Credit and Surety industries.

These webinars will be organised on the last Tuesday of each month,  and will take about 60 minutes. Speakers of the webinars will be professionals from the industry and stakeholders of the industry offering additional inspiration and fresh ideas to mid-level staff of our membership and (when webinars are open to all) to the informed public around core topics in the industries we represent. Based on one of the newest publications of Swiss Re Institutes, the webinar of November looks at the Credit and Surety industries in the times of economic uncertainty. The world geopolitics are constantly changing and the spectre of uncertainty prevails, especially regarding the economic outlook, including trade prospects. Swiss Re believes that in times of global transition, credit and surety insurance give confidence to businesses when they trade, and public entities when they invest in construction, supporting the real economy. Swiss Re Institute estimates that C&S insurance generated combined global premiums of USD 33 billion in 2022, outperforming the overall P&C market in terms of annual growth rate, and in line with average world gross domestic product (GDP) growth (5.5%) over the past 20 years.
