Export credit agency of Kazakhstan JSC (hereinafter –Kazakhexport) is the only specialized organization and development institute of the Republic of Kazakhstan, providing exporting enterprises of the processing sector & their importers, financial institutions with insurance protection against the risk of non-payment, credit risk in foreign trade operations and guaranteeing the safety of export transactions.

Today, KazakhExport offers 22 different support tools to facilitate export of goods and services from Kazakhstan.

Since 2016, within the framework of its activities, KazakhExport provided insurance coverage to more than 260 Kazakhstani manufacturers for a total amount of over USD 1.9 bln.

KazakhExport is a full member of international associations such as the Prague Club of the Bern Union and Aman Union, which include the most prominent export credit agencies in the world; UNGC, UNWEP, NZECA.

Financial reliability rating of KazakhExport from Moody’s Investors Service was confirmed at the level “Baa1”, the forecast for the financial reliability rating is Stable.

KazakhExport was established in 2003 by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, initially as the State Insurance Company for insurance of export credits and investments.

In 2024, KazakhExport acquired official status of Export credit agency. This step has expanded the capacity to support Kazakh exporters, surety business was added to the main tasks of the KazakhExport.

Ayan Bektybayeva – Deputy Chairman of the Management Board – oversees the underwriting of direct insurance and reinsurance, risk management, actuary, international cooperation and sustainable development.

Madina Yerzhanova – Deputy Chairman of the Management Board – oversees the operations of the insurance and guarantee, trade finance and subsidies, credit analysis and work of foreign representatives.

Aibol Balkin – Deputy Chairman of the Management Board – oversees the Organizational activities, procurement, insurance and guarantee payments, legal support.

KazakhExport gradually expands the geography of its presence, offices of foreign representatives operate in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russian Federation, Kyrgyz Republic and China.
