Atradius traces its history back to 1925: originally as NCM, supporting Dutch trade and later State supported exports. In 2001, it merged with Germany’s Gerling Credit, forming Gerling NCM, and rebranded as Atradius in 2004. Its 2008 alliance with Spain’s Crédito y Caución (CyC) consolidated Atradius’ status as a leading global credit insurer.
