DESCRIPTION:ICISA webinars are a series of monthly webinars that aim at tackling topics and challenges of the Trade Credit and Surety industries. These webinars will be organised on the last Tuesday of each month\,  and will take about 60 minutes. The full list of topics and webinars organised by ICISA in 2023 is published here. \nBased on one of the newest publications of Swiss Re Institutes\, the webinar of November looks at the Credit and Surety industries in the times of economic uncertainty. The world geopolitics are constantly changing and the spectre of uncertainty prevails\, especially regarding the economic outlook\, including trade prospects. Swiss Re believes that in times of global transition\, credit and surety insurance give confidence to businesses when they trade\, and public entities when they invest in construction\, supporting the real economy. Swiss Re Institute estimates that C&S insurance generated combined global premiums of USD 33 billion in 2022\, outperforming the overall P&C market in terms of annual growth rate\, and in line with average world gross domestic product (GDP) growth (5.5%) over the past 20 years. \nRegistration and participation to this Webinar is free of charge and can be done via the form below.

Throughout 2022\, ICISA members reported an increase on all business lines\, indicating the increased volatility seen in the global economy\, while leaving the industry well capitalized and secured. \nThe results and the outlook will be discussed by ICISA’s Executive Director\, Richard Wulff.

DESCRIPTION:It gives us pleasure to invite you to the 1st ICISA AGM Week\, taking place between 30 May – 3 June 2022\, in Helsinki\, at Hilton Helsinki Strand. \nWe remind you that the structure of ICISA meetings was changed to encompass not only the COMI and AGM\, but also the meetings of our technical committees. We kindly ask you to refer to the agenda of this meeting. The meetings during the AGM are on the following days: \n\nTechnical committee meetings will take place on Monday\, Tuesday and Wednesday (30 May-1 June).\nA social program is organized on the afternoon of Wednesday 1 June\nThe Committee on Managerial Issues (COMI) will be held on Thursday and Friday morning. (2-3 June)\nThe Annual Meeting of Members (AGM) will take place on Friday.\n\nThe choice to send one of more delegates for Committees (Monday – Wednesday) and for COMI and AGM (Thursday – Friday) is left to members consideration.
